When it comes to get a job in Indian government, Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Every year, lot of government job vacancies are released and one can get a government job by clearing SSC examination.
Staff selection commission conducts such examination every year and publish detailed notice with examination date and timing for SSC exam.
SSC examination is for various government post such as tax assistant officers, inspectors, junior engineer etc.

SSC Eligibility Criteria
- SSC Age Criteria :- SSC Applicant age should be between 18 to 40 years of age limit. Further age limit relaxation is given to ST/SC/OBC.
- SSC Qualification :- 10th/12th/Graduate/Postgraduate. For entry or clerk level job you just have to be 10th pass or 12th pass. Applicants can apply for officer rank if they are graduate or have done post-graduation as well.
Also, there are some posts in SSC which are only restricted for Indian Citizen. So, one must have Indian citizen proof along with them.
How to Fill SSC Online Application Form
Applicant can fill SSC form either online or offline.
SSC Application Online – To fill SSC online application you will need a scanned passport sized photo and signature.
Fill all the required details regarding your address, mobile number, qualification, age etc and keep scanned photos ready to upload. For photo dimensions, kindly check SSC official site.
SSC Application Offline – You can download the SSC application form online and then fill it or SSC forms are available at post offices, available centres etc. Prefer to download it and get it print.
Applicant need to attach their documents of address proof, qualification details, photos etc. along with the SSC form and submit at the office address which will be mentioned on the form.
SSC Application Exam Fee
- Applicant can pay through net banking/credit/debit card.
- Fee can be paid by generating a challan form against your SSC form which can be paid at any nearest branch which is mentioned by SSC at their site.
